Cents for Fence

You know all of those coins that weigh down your wallets, jingle in the bottom of your pockets, and float around your car? Your loose change could make a real change for orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya.

The next stage of development for Umoja is to build the perimeter fence on our 17 acres of land. This, along with our on-site manager/ caretaker, will help us secure the land while we are busy fundraising in Australia.

piggy bank15 volunteers have already signed up to travel to Kenya in September to erect the fence. The helpers are ready and waiting. All we need is your dollars and cents to help us fund our fence. Please support our Boundary Fence Appeal by collecting loose change. You could collect your unwanted change at home and then make a direct deposit into our bank account or via other payment options available on our website http://umojahome.com/kenya/donate

Placing an Umoja Collection Tins in your workplace or staffroom is another great way to fundraise for our fence appeal. You will be surprised how much can be raised by collecting loose change and you won’t even miss such small amounts. Umoja tins are free and can be delivered and collected by one of our friendly Umoja team members. If you would like to participate, please contact our treasurer Gaye Limpus via e-mail  gaye@umojahome.com

If you would like to make a donation to our Boundary Fence Appeal, please visit our website. Together we achieve the extraordinary.
